FONTANA, CA (NOVEMBER 24, 2023): 27-year-old George Riegos has been arrested under suspicion of driving under the influence after an accident in Fontana that injured two people.
According to the Rialto Police Department, the incident occurred on Tuesday, November 21st on Rialto Avenue. Reports indicate that a vehicle failed to stop at a red light and consequently collided with another vehicle near Linden Avenue. Emergency personnel were dispatched to the scene shortly after.

Upon their arrival, two people were discovered with injuries sustained in the crash. Paramedics rushed these victims to a trauma center for further treatment. Their identity and current condition remains unknown at the time.
Officers subsequently arrested George Riegos of Fontana, booking him at West Valley Detention Center for driving under the influence of alcohol causing injury. His bail was set at $250,000.
Rialoto authorities will continue to investigate the causes of this accident and prosecuting George Riegos for his responsibility.
