Chico, CA (November 16, 2023) A woman was injured on Wednesday, November 15th, in a 2-vehicle collision on Highway 99 in Chico, according to the California Highway Patrol. The collision occurred just after 3:00 p.m. in the northbound lanes of Highway 99, at Garner Lane.
A Chrysler was stopped at a red light in Chico on Highway 99, when it was rear-ended by a Scion. Police received the call and arrived at the scene within minutes. They found one person who was injured with a leg injury.

Paramedics arrived and loaded the injured woman into an ambulance and rushed her to a local hospital, where she is expected to make a full recovery. It is unknown if the driver of the other vehicle was injured in this Highway 99 crash.
Crews had to clean up the scene, which was covered in glass and debris from the collision and a tow truck was called to remove at least one of the damaged vehicles from the scene.
