Willows, CA (October 13, 2023) One person is dead and several others injured after a collision on Interstate 5 in Willows on Friday morning. According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident occurred shortly after 4:00 a.m. at County Road 57.

Upon arrival, emergency crews discovered a Chevrolet Trailblazer that had overturned in the collision. Two people with critical injuries were airlifted by medical helicopters to Enloe Medical Center. Three other people were also injured and taken to Rideout Regional Medcial Center in Marysville via ground ambulances. Emergency crews also found one person with fatal injuries.
Investigators are working the scene to determine what exactly happened on the Interstate 5 Freeway in Willows.
