LOS ANGELES, CA (OCTOBER 9, 2023): Los Angeles District Attorney Office investigator Sgt. Emilio Guerrero, 54, and his wife, Annabel Guerrero, 47, were killed in a collision Monday.
The collision occurred Sunday around 2:05 p.m. at the intersection of Paramount Boulevard and Gardendale Street. A vehicle driven by a 60-year-old man crashed into the vehicle driven by Annabel Guerrero. The cause of this crash is currently under investigation.

Sgt. Guerrero and his wife were Downey residents, who “were dedicated public servants who gave so much to their communities,” as stated by Los Angeles County Supervisor Janice Hahn on a social media post.
The Downey Police Department urges anyone with information to contact the office. They continue to work on this case involving Emilio and Annabel Guerrero.
