Buttonwillow, CA (September 22, 2023) – Several people suffered injury on Friday, September 22nd, after being in multi-car accident on SR-43 in Buttonwillow. The accident was reported around 8:54 a.m. near the intersection with Panama Lane.
Three vehicles collided on the highway resulting in one of the cars, a Ford, flipping onto its roof and trapping a woman inside. Rescuers managed to free her, but reported that she had suffered a head injury.

According to reports up to individuals suffered some level of injury from minor to severe. The southbound lanes of SR43 were closed for a period, diverting traffic onto SB 15.
