Aromas, CA (August 31, 2023) – Multiple people were injured on Wednesday, August 30th, after a head-on DUI crash on Highway 129 outside of Aromas, CA. The accident transpired around 1:00 p.m.
The accident involved two vans which collided head on on the highway. According to reports the first van had been observed swerving on the road. This caused it to veer into oncoming traffic and hit the other van. The second van was transporting a number of individuals with disabilities.

A total of six people were injured in the collision, with varying degrees of severity. Three ambulances were dispatched to the scene and at least one individual was so seriously injured that they were air-lifted to the hospital.
Police are still investigating the DUI crash on Highway 129. The driver of the first van was uninjured, but was arrested for driving under the influence.
