One person is dead after being hit in a fatal hit-and-run accident in Palm Desert on Wednesday, August 9th. According to the Riverside County Sheriff’s Office, the collision transpired at approximately 10:16 a.m. at the intersection of Country Club Drive and Barrington Drive
Few details are known about the accident, but it is known that the victim was a pedestrian and that the driver fled the scene in their vehicle. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene. Investigators are seeking help in identifying the driver.
