San Diego, CA (August 9, 2023) A head-on collision occurred on Tuesday at San Pasqual Valley Road in San Diego. The San Diego Police Department said officers were called around 4:12 p.m. to the 16000 block of San Pasqual Valley Road where 3 people were injured in a head-on collision.
It was a normal day as a Dodge Ram, driven by a 54-year-old man, was traveling east on San Pasqual Valley Road. At the same time, a Honda Accord, driven by a 18-year-old male, was traveling west on the same road. The Honda, for reasons still unknown, crossed the yellow, center divider lines and continued driving west in the eastbound lane.
The Dodge and the Honda moved closer to each other other until they eventually crashed, head-on, according to officer Robert Heims. The driver of the Honda was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries, including multiple bone breaks on both legs.
There were also 2 passengers in the Honda. They were both transported the hospital with life-threatening injuries. The department’s traffic division is currently investigating the crash.
