A woman was hospitalized with serious injuries on Thursday, July 27, 2023 after a traffic collision on the 805 Freeway in National City, CA.
The California Highway Patrol (CHP) estimates the time of the accident at around 1:25 a.m. The incident occurred on the northbound side of the 805 near the Sweetwater Road off-ramp.

The victim who was driving a Mercedes sedan had stalled out in one of the southbound lanes, and was standing outside her vehicle. A black Chevrolet Cruze collided with the Mercedes and the woman, causing the injuries.
The victim was transported to the hospital by paramedics. The CHP is still investigating the incident, and has not released further details.
