(San Jose, CA) The Caio Terra Academy jiu-jitsu school was damaged in a Park Avenue hit and run crash in San Jose.

On Sunday, August 3, in the afternoon, the Park Avenue hit and run crash occurred. According to San Jose Police, it happened at 855 Park Avenue, where the Caio Terra Academy is located.

According to Terra, the owner of the jiu-jistu school, a driver ran a red light, t-boned a car. As a result, the vehicle crashed into the front of his studio before driving off. Terra further reported no one was inside the school during the hit and run crash. The condition of the driver of the other vehicle affected is unknown.

Further down the street, the owner of Diridon Market provided surveillance video regarding the Caio Terra Academy crash. The owner believes a truck driving around the corner is the possible suspect. Police are investigating the collision further.
